Free Lebanese food for lunch today - hee hee. Busy moving - hectic, fretful, etc. I'm right in the middle of it all - and will most likely be pretty scarce until March 1st. I'll have the cash to get a 2003 Honda Metropolitan by the time it comes out at the end of the month, and I just put a grand on the Visa card. Excellent. Gas prices won't hurt nearly as much as they would have had I stayed in Towson, which is also nice.

24 last night blew me away - I was disappointed that Kim wasn't eaten by a cougar though. She is an endless source of irritation. American Idol isn't holding my attention like it did last year, but I suspect it is partially because I am so preoccupied with moving. I rent a truck for the big stuff this Saturday - and it's supposed to snow some... fawk. Pray to your respective gods for me that it doesn't, okay? ;)
The sun is strong right now, making the harbor's water a vibrant blue. Nice.

The Cure's "If Only Tonight We Could Sleep" is playing on iTunes, and food is on the way - life is good!

Oh my god, I totally forgot to watch Kingpin! Luckily TiVo got my back, and is recording it - hooray! So I'll watch it in a few minutes.

The snow is insane here - I bet we get 2 feet by morning. I assume we won't be going to work tomorrow, damn... that's crazy!

I'll take pics of the snow tomorrow - wheee!

Yeah! 2 feet, I reckon ;)

I don't look forward to digging out.. but it is nice to have another day off to get fully settled in and fully recouperate from all that moving on Friday... my back is still a bit sore. Dag.
Song on iTunes? "Keep Fishin'" by Weezer, haha.

I'm the only one at work today from the production staff... so I better get back to work!! ;) I'm glad Evan picked Zora - I was rooting for her since the first episode. Now I can have another hour of my life back... stupid addictive television. (psssst - I love you, TiVo)
Song on iTunes? "June" by Unrest. Love, me.

Right now I'm listening to The Secret Stars song "Wait"... a slice of sound from almost ten years ago now. I had that on 7", archived it to DAT, then to Minidisc when the DAT recorder started to die... and am only now getting to those remaining tapes to burn to cd. So it's really weird... because I saved these songs that I love so much, but I haven't listened to in (literally) about seven years. It makes me feel so happy and sad simultaneously. I was really lonely sometimes in 1994 and 1995 - but life really was very much uncomplicated. I miss it, and I don't.

Steve and I went to Dave and Holly's house last night, to meet up with people from my work... in a rare occurance, I got pretty close to drunk (maybe I was? I dunno - I'll have to ask them tomorrow). I had a ton of fun, and even got to see Rob Bartlett! It was a great night... I had a delicious hamburger at Heroes Bar... weird... bar food is usually okay, not great.

Haha - now the 7" recording of "Words and Smiles" by Tiger Trap is on. It's making me want to cry it's so good. I feel like I've neglected a favorite pet... Thank god I didn't throw these away in a fit of cleaning house. I feel like Enid in the Ghost World Graphic Novel, where she's curled on the bed listening to a treasured record from her childhood.

Oh wow - now it's something truly wonderful. A recording of "A Letter to Elise" by a French girl (who barely speaks English...) that I had released on my old record label. The world needs to hear this.

Ahhh... enough of my wistful wistfulness.

Here's a pic of my first foray into the wonderful world of fiberglass casting! I stood and stared wide-eyed in front of you, hee hee

Holy balls, it's snowing again. I figured out how to take grabs of my TTT DVD (heee).

Triksy!

More snow, hahaha - hilarious.
I'm listening to an Aberdeen 7" right now... again, archiving/transferring old music that's lain unheard for literally years. Like a comfy old sweater and a cup of sweet black tea. Yum. Oooh - now it's "Me and Her" by Heavens To Betsy. Fuck yeah, these girls are amazing.

Didn't go to Anthony's show tonight, because the roads are icy. I'm sure he's bummed, and I am too - sorry, man. My front tire is low, I am tired, and I just don't want to drive an hour in the snow. I did pay for a ticket, so at least I contributed somehow. Still on track, money-wise, which rocks.

I feel very disconnected right now... unsure of my daily routine, I suppose. I have all this creative energy though, which I am excited to fully and selfishly indulge in. I have plans to customize my forthcoming scooter helmet, take delivery of and build the 1:1 Artoo Detoo prop, build some models, work on Jon's Robot, and build a near-studio scale ship from The Empire Strikes Back on commission. Somewhere in there, I'll have fun with friends, ride my forthcoming scooter, work on some videos, archive my vhs tapes to dvd, and maybe paint the bathroom red and literally gild the ceiling (yes - red walls and gold leaf on the ceiling. Yes, I'm serious. I think it will make people giggle).

Hahah - yet another version of The Cure's "Forever" or "Three" if you prefer... all the same song. God I love this stuff.... Hugs, Jason

Walking in the park - kissing in the dark - and your tights around your ankles!
Ah, Billy Bragg. Here's me, during the evening archive session.

Love ya guys, Jason

I slid all the way to work

The roads were treacherous, but not enough to get a Venti Mocha...

You like it here, buddy?

Heee hee...

Here's a peek at the command center. I have the dirty workshop set up in the basement, and the computer and art table upstairs... TiVo is behind you.

Finial and Japanese paper elevated to "art"... making this my sanctuary.

Hey everyone... Dig the crazy snowstorm?
