Happy May!
Today (well, technically "today") I go to another Landmarks limo/alcohol/dinner - this time in Fredericksburg VA. Wheee.
So my camera is almost sometimes working, haha. It's on its last legs for sure - but I did coax a few pix out of it yesterday.

Here's one of Lisa and me

And at long last, four video stills from my Wheelie Night of Horrors™! The first one was great - the last three are from the Wheelie of Doom™.

Ahhh, I pussed out last night. Elected to work on this Jersey Cape project instead. Tonight I go to the Apple Store! New 30 gig iPod! Gregg is maybe attending as well! I am meeting up with Jane, Tom, and Steve for dinner and playtime afterwards... We got our wireless lavalier system at work today - mmmmm, wireless lavalier. It'll come in handy when I go to CVille in two weeks! I start doing my REAL job! Yay!! Back to OSX - fuckin' A!
Song in iTunes? "The Boys Are Back In Town" by The Cardigans.

Listening to The Rentals - ooweeoo ooh weee ooh! I miss my old Moog. Gonna have to get another one, but AFTER I buy a house... and even that is at least three years off, gaaah. Steve came over and I finished all the wiring on the Blade Runner prop. Hotly contested details! Did the "sight" have a green led, or is that a trick of light? We only have the film and promo pics to go by - no one seems to have documented the props well. Anyway, here's Steve's green led a'firing!

Gonna clean tomorrow (today) and entertain the lovely Lisa. Show her the new iPod. I'll make her a MacAddict™ yet!
Song on (sexyassnew) iPod? "Room 8" by Rilo Kiley.

Luckily, and amazingly (I guess - because at the time it was a struggle to even breathe), I'm better for it, feel better about life in general, and though I am still in debt and have a while before I'm back to where I was, posession-wise (ever walked away from all your shared posessions because they were tainted? it's weird), I know my future is brighter than any one I would have had with a cheating, foolish, uncreative sad little redhead. Cheers to friends, family, and love. It's real, it's out there, and it's always worth pursuing.
Wow... what a lot of heady stuff to unload out of nowhere...
Oh! dinner is ready!

Hey kids! Sorry I've been MIA - busy weekend!
To get you up to speed - Thursday night was spent seeing a movie by Tom's friend, which you can read all about HERE.
It was great... I've since started chatting with JimmyO the mastermind, and I may be property master for their upcoming space film, heeeeeee.

Friday was nightmarish, with a deadline at work and an eyelid infection:

I went to bed kinda early. Saturday I got up early and worked a half day to get the work done and to FedEx, and my eye still hurt. Later that day, I went to Tom's parent's house and we recorded "When Doves Cry"!

Good Old Crofton. 9 years ago, in that very house, Eggcarton Zoo was born.

Some of the old-school gear used.

Later that evening, I'd had enough of my eye, so I disinfected a fresh X-Acto blade, flipped the lid inside out, and sliced into the thing. Popp! Pressure relieved, problem solved. Plus, for about 30 seconds, I was crying blood - very gothic and creepy. My vision was literally red.

Sunday, I slept and cleaned. Lisa and I went to Charlottesville VA on Monday and Tuesday on a video shoot - she was my assistant, and did a fantastic job! Oodles of fun, even though it was a lot of work. That girl rocks. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Got home in time for 24, which was RAD. I go back to VA again this coming Monday and Tuesday, this time taking my brother Jonathan... I have pics, but need to grab them off the GL2. More later!
Song on iPod? "The Snakepit" bt The Cure.
