Here I am last week, on the job at a hotel checking the dvd equipment. Wheeee.
Be sure to go HERE to check out this past weekend's trip to the new Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Museum in VA... swooon!
Yesterday, Lisa and I gorged on Astronaut Ice Cream, Astronaut Ice Cream Sandwiches, and Astronaut Strawberries. Freeze-dried foods in foil pouches are gooooooooooooood.

Working on Boba Fett in the basement last night.

The iPod gives me tunes and the Palm keeps me in the loop. It will be invaluable when I'm travelling, as it has WiFi capabilities allows me to check email.

The web is very readable.

... and it lets you surf with full click-ability.

Airport provides the signal at home!

Here's a shot of my ever-changing desktops at work. Dooku points to where my harddrives are. Thanks!

And someone ejects from the cockpit on the right-hand screen. It's my "quittin' time" picture.
Song on iTunes? "Two Way Monologue" by Sondre Lerche - LOVE it!

You are looking at a Darth Vader chestbox cast - apparently from the A New Hope molds, circa 1976.
Yay!

Hey gang! I had a great weekend - finally caught up with Tom and Dan, and went to the Hunan (we got the "special" fortune cookies, too, hee!).

Tom, enjoying his sesame chicken.

Dan, digging the yummy Pineapple Chicken.
I'm so glad we got to spend time with them... it had been far too long.
Saturday was my one year anniversary with Lisa (observed). We spent the day with Tom and Jane!

Ate at El Saltos... we got FOUR baskets of chips! We are BAD!

And we loved every chip.

Tom, smiling for the camera.

Me. Wheee.

We then went to a jewelry supply store, and then to Bedazzled.

Little kitty beads!

That pretty church off of Charles Street!
We then said goodbye to the Wynns and Lisa and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Helmand. Mmmmm - oh how I wish I had more Kebabs.

Picture through the glass! Wooooo.

Hey guys! Lisa and I just got back from a three day trip to Richmond Virginia! We did a little work, got a lot of amazing free food, and generally had a blast!

Her shoes were delightful.

As was the shirt that she made. Naughty!

We had dinner with Ron at an Italian Restaurant called Francos. I had what was maybe the best Filet Mignon of my life! Our desserts were these dense and rich chocolate tortes with a cookie sail or glazed spun sugar fan - both had live orchids in them as well. I was so stuffed I thought I was going to die.

Here is the view from the hotel room. We stayed at the Omni Richmond, which I LOVED for having WiFi in every room. I was able to check my mail and surf the sites from my little Palm. I felt connected, which was important to me.

Richmond is a lovely town. It sports Geodesic Domes...

... and giant puzzle pieces!

AND TRAINS! CRISS-CROSSING ALL OVER THE PLACE!

I shot an ad at a place called Decorator's Warehouse, which sells all sorts of kitsch... I fell in love with the 1950's female mannequin complete with checkered dress. Not for sale. Damn. They did have a giant gorilla! OOO OOO! Monkey!

Lisa and I walked the canals.

...and I had a little childish video fun here... more on that later, hehe!

This is the Probat Droid (nerrrd!) from the nice coffee shop.

I want one.

Here you see my fanclub, across the street. Sadly, thick glass and a second story separated me from the girls.

But they had indominitable spirit! Rock on, ladies. Rock. On.

We enjoyed wonderful weather. A little chilly, but clear and pleasant.

We got a little drunk Friday night at Helen's, and Lisa vamped in front of the office I dubbed "Disco Architect"! It was an architect firm that had an automated light show that played after hours. I have a song too - ask me when you see me next, and I will sing it for you. "Disko Architekt-ah! Wakka chicka..."

Farewell Disco Architect! Sigh..

Speaking of disco, Jane will be crushed to know she missed what was perhaps the coolest men's room ever. First off, understand this picture was taken with a flash. The room was very very dark, and the spinning discoball was lit with a halogen spotlight, above and behind me. It threw little specks of light around the entire room, and was rather entertaining. It was also perhaps the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. Look how narrow it is in relation to the toilet. The photo makes it look way bigger than it really is. It would probably be easier to use the sink, because you need to literally wedge yourself between the wall and the sink to pee, and aim sideways... You end up sitting half your butt on the edge of the sink... it's about 4 inches from the bowl. Ridiculous!!!

I took a picture in the mirror. Hi Jane!

A few more shots, from the Company meeting I did AV for, located at the gorgeous Tobacco Company in Richmond. Three stories of amazing history.
