Then it's the bomb that will bring us together...

It is so nice outside.. and in 6 minutes I go for a walk, and listen to my iPod. Life is pretty damn good.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAMBTRON!
Tuesday, April 12th, 2005

Technically her birthday was yesterday, but we started celebrating last weekend, so let's keep this up for another week! We'll be having a Birthday Cookout™ in two weeks... so I think this is the Birthday Monthstravaganzathon-o-rama.

Happy Birthday Lisa! Muchos love from me!

Lisa and I took a walk on Sunday, through the neighborhood that I lived in growing up. It's full of gorgeous homes and beautiful trees.

Two months from now, this will be a sea of green.

Most of the people in this neighborhood live on the water - it's a penninsula.

I showed Lisa the wetland area where we used to see this prehistoric snapping turtle! As kids, we'd tell tales of this lumbering beast who ate tomatos and carrots (and probably fingers). I wonder if it's children live here...

Lisa! Show them what you've won!

Here is my former backyard/garage area, where we set things on fire and played with Landspeeders. Check that pic above against the two below - the railing is still the same, and so is the low white retaining wall on the right of the driveway area. Cool. I don't like how they yuppified the garage. Sad.

Here's the house I lived in in 1979-80...

And that's how I remember it. This was before Annapolis became full of rich fucks driving 50k SUVs over colonial streets, and wondering why they have to make 8-point turns to get out of driveways.

Here'e one of the last houses on the street that seems to be "old school" Annapolis. Like, really old school. Doesn't it look like the Brady Bunch Father designed it?

And before I go, a not to check out babyeaton.com tomorrow for the big Baptism update!

Off to taste cakes! Jason

Cake Coma™
Tuesday, April 19th, 2005

Hey gang! Okay, here's a recap from a week ago. First, a feast for your senses. I made a 'lil gif of the "dancing" from that wedding a few weeks back that Lisa and I attended. Is that appropriate wedding clothes? The answer is "no".

Next up is a very young kid, watching a dvd of FREDDY Vs JASON at the reception. I don't know about you, but I'd like to try to keep my children "innocent" for as long as realisticaly possible. Call me crazy.

Here's the firetruck that came in response to Lisa's neighbors roof fire. This was the night that she saw embers sparking along a neighbor's roof - and the owner was a dick to the cops and firemen - acting like it was no big deal. Wow.

Here we have our cake tasting session. Ah.. one week ago, I was in food porn heaven. We ate the whole damn thing - perverts!!

Uh oh! Jason ate the rest!

She's cute even when she feels stuffed!

Duff is the MAN.

We are choosing numbers one, two, and three for our layers. Numba one was our faves. Mmmm.

Plus, here's a movie of my walk in the mornings from the car to my desk!

It's contaguh uh awoh uh huuuus!

Catching up - again! We had a cookout for my dear sweet Lisa this weekend! I loves that girl.

In other news, I'm working on Roboterkampf here and there:

Jane and I had to go to Bethesda last week and AGAIN this week. We both needed to get our NIH Contractor badges, and the first time we went down, the computer system was down. Ugh. Take two - success.

We act like ten year olds. Our driver, Randy, punished us with country music the whole way down. They sure love Jesus!

I crushed her head.

I was doing her a favor. She had a salad while I was eating a hamburger... mmmmm...

Today I am coordinating with Lisa, and our Wedding Plans, 2005. This is my face, as I scour the web for affordable resources...

And today I am making fashion waves in my Boba Fett shoes. Yeah. No kidding. I'm that much of a nerd.
