So hectic I could collapse...

There is so much to do and so little time... Anthony, Crissy, and Maren are a few weeks away from moving to Texas, we close on our house in less than three weeks, and we get married in less than four!!

Maren loves a goofy uncle.

Here's some pics from the archives... I was browsing today, so indulge me on a stroll down memory lane. Lisa and I from Anth and Crissah's wedding!

Arado 234 from the Udvar-Hazy. God, it is so sexy.

Me and a Mummy from Artfest 2003. It was SO HOT that day!

My AT-AT paint masters for Master Replicas... couldn't resist setting them in the snow! Thank god for camera timers.

My favorite picture of Jane from the series she likes to call "unflattering pictures that Jason takes of me and posts on the web™" Hehehe.
EDITED TO ADD:

Jane wanted me to add this pic of her, which meets her seal of approval :)

Lisa - bellydancer!

We paint pottery a few times a year. This is still my fave. A big bowl that has space kitties on the outside (with a fish in a water-filled suit) and a rocketship on the inside. In our new house, we can USE these things that have sat in storage for so long...

Hey look! Blade Runner guns from late 2002!

I love coffee.

Lisa, do you need help with those heavy bags? Can I take your picture first?

Crissy - is giving birth fun?

Me and my first iPod. Got it the week it came out in late 2001... 'lil 5 gig'er.

I sold it and upgraded to a 3G 20 gig model - it was rad!

Then it DIED. I had it refurbished and sold it... and bought a 40 gig 4G!

Jonathan working on his car.

Kaiju Big Battel! Philly Fighto! That was so fun to watch...

KC, a designer at my former job, got in a fight after the Christmas party. With midshipmen, no less. He's a badass.

In our new home - I can hang pics properly - like the painting Kimya (of the Moldy Peaches) made for me of kitties and robots!

The gorgeous sunset from the building where I used to work, in downtown Annapolis.

Lisa tries on a kitty hat at Hot Topic!

Lisa wears a kitty hat in the car!

We ate Chinese food a lot.

And went with the Wynns to the Mütter to hang with Gretchen Worden. XOXO.

I got a rad new job! Look at me taking a picture of me on the TV.

I did a bad wheelie on my scooter. Luckily didn't break anything on me.

One time Tom and I went to a prop party and Lisa and Jane fired guns at the NRA headquarters!

I hung with Tom and Dan, making music.

Played a lot of Scrabble.

Posed my cat with props.

Drew myself and Lisa as Southpark characters in the Millennium Falcon. I am looking at her boobs.

Lost a friend. (Steve - you listening?)

SUPER excited to get my table set up again. I decoupaged three leaves of a big table in 2002 with color xeroxes of The Cure's 1989 era artwork, and varnished it with thick polyurethane bar-top stuff.

It's been in the basement for three years now - and is probably kind of fucked up.

Finally, who can forget all those Fourth of Julys with the Wynns? POW!
Okay. OW.

Hey kids - guess what I cut myself with? I was up in PA, working on some freelance, and I cut the crap out of my left hand, on the side between the pointer finger and the thumb. It was the worst I've ever cut myself by far - blood just gushed out... and throughout the whole experience, I was irritated that I did it - and that I didn't have my camera!!!! Grrrrr.
On our way to the hospital, we had to take some detours because the main street was closed due to a BIKER CONVENTION. It was a comedy...

Took a pic when we got back to Steve's house. Got blood on his cement, but not on my clothes or his carpets! Cool.

Here's my ID bracelet.

Here's the battlefield. Gobstoppers and iced tea.
You ready for the gore?
I got home, and took some pics.
You sure you're ready?
Looks like a shark attacked me! Seven stitches.

I have to keep it splinted until the stitches come out to avoid the finger bending, which tugs the gash apart - this is a wicked pisser because I can't grip anything very effectively, and my keyboard shortcuts have a serious cramp in my style... shift-control-apple-s in Photoshop now takes two hands.

Dare me to lick it? It hurts like a barrel of fuck.
Looove, Jason
MOVE!
Friday, September 23rd, 2005
So we closed on the house!!!! It is ours! We start moving tonight - rent the truck Sunday. It will rock. Here's a brief recap of what I've been up to over the past week:

Went to a prop party in PA. They honored me with a prop replica kit!

I gave Karl his Phaser Rifle (yay, I finished!) and he shot the lifesize standee!

I got stuck in traffic.

People got hit.

My hand continued to heal. I cut the stitches down after this pic was taken, since the long strands bugged me...

Feeling better!

My big box of model kits from Goto-san arrived! YEAH!

I made some money from Firefly/Serenity.

Printed it on mylar like the show did.

Still liked the paper versions better because of color retention...

Shiny!

I made enough to share with the class.

I got a visit from a hand puppet while I let my cut breathe at work today. He asked my other hand: "Geordi! Is there a problem with the Dilithium Chamber?!?"

Geordi replied "No, sir! But we have a coolant leak!!!!"
Yeah - I'm crazy.
My legs are made of rubberised lead

We are moved in! Much thanks to John, Jon, Tom, Jane, Lisa's Parents, and Budget. So I've moved like, 9 times, right? And every time I've used a truck without hitting anything... until yesterday. The left rear tire grabbed Lisa's front bumper and ripped it (mostly) off her car. Narrow street, poor turning radius, and my shit luck. It's a minor repair (one plastic part), and I have been told that I won't even have to pay the deductible, but oh my god I feel awful.
Want some pics?

Uuungh.

Here's a goat I saw while driving the hell-truck.

Front room!

Dining room!

Only six days until we're married - wooo! :)

Lisa and I saw a sneak preview of Serenity last night. It was phenomenal. Absolutely wonderful! Yesterday was my birthday, and there's only two more days until the wedding! Lisa's car is at the body shop, the parts have been ordered, and the estimate is just shy of $700 - and I won't even have to pay my deductible, which is wonderful, since it would have come out of my "big new TV slush fund" that I have set aside.
The clinical director, down the hall from my office, took my stitches out earlier this week.

I got to keep the suture removal kit!

Didn't feel a thing - didn't even tickle.

Ta-da!

Gnarly. This scar is going to get the chicks, I tells ya.
So, Monday night - the first full day in our new home. Guess what was waiting for me on the porch? Two boxes of MaK kits!

The big one is a 1/20th Nutrocker - wow!!

I also got Tivo up and talking to the wireless network - all systems are go.
Practice makes wedding!
