Today is the one month-iversary for Lisa and I! I'm the luckiest guy in the world.
To your left, under "Specials", you will notice the Halloween 2005 link. Click it.

"What's that, Commissioner? The dam is about to burst, drowning the villagers in maple syrup?!"

"Explain yourself!!! I need waffles!!"

Our TV arrived yesterday....

It is retardedly huge and gorgeous.
Hey! Over here! Hellp! Pleeeeease heeeelp!

My C-3PO torso arrived in the mail last night.

Fiberglass, fully wearable - not that I know any one on the planet thin enough to fit into this thing! Maybe Jonathan....

Also have my Lynda Barry pictures hung now - yay!

Speaking of death, the pumpkins have shuffled off their mortal coils. Jack did his "toothless old man" impersonation as he decomposed. Splendid.

We had a fire drill at work this week - evacuated out into the back where they are constructing our new building. How funny is it that I grabbed my iPod before leaving? I would have hated to lose the files on that HD!

Also this week: my phone seems to be broken! "HELLO?!?"

Last night I watched Rome on HBO in HD. It is a mind-blowing experience to see how amazing TV can look on such a big-ass™ screen.

As I was putting on my socks and shoes this morning, Simon took a break from his desperate meows-for-food to sniff the gigantor catnip mouse/scratching blob that Lisa recently purchased. This lasted mere seconds before he remembered that he was starving (even though his bowl had food IN it) and walked to my feet to plead some more.

Coco then materialized from the ether and began to play.

Simon, suddenly realizing that he desperately wanted to play with the toy that moments ago was completely uninteresting, approached Coco. Here, dear reader, is Coco hissing at Simon! He paused, and turned tail, and casually ambled out of the room, defeated and "hungry".

I had my shoes on by this point, so I walked into the kitchen and fed the cats. Simon was (of course) there, and Coco followed, springing from paw to paw in a festive manner. Hi Coco~!
Happy Birthday Thomas LoMacchio!

My good friend Tom has a birthday today! It got me to thinking about our recordings (click the "sounds" link above for more on that goofiness) and where I was 10 years ago. I'm in the middle of adding all those wedding pictures to the site* and every photo reminds me of how much I love who and where I am today. All the things I've said, done, and seen have led me to this place - and it's amazing. So is the pear that Lisa packed in my lunch today! She is a peach!
*That link above does not work yet - gimme a little while longer - LOTS of captions to write. Xoxox.

It's Autumn in the shape of a pear!

Jane popped over while I was photographing the pear, and made faces with me!
So in honor of Tom - here is a look back at the way we were.

I am on the left, Tom is on the right. We were pretending to race! Stars of Track and Field are beautiful people.

My birthday cake in 1996 had a Hoth theme. Thanks, mom!

Speaking of Track and Field, here is Isobel from the first B&S tour.

Going back to 1994-ish, Joe Genaro at my old roommate's apartment!

1993 (?) Jon liked Morrissey (can you tell?) and Mary liked me (giggle).

Speaking of me, ten years ago? I was SKINNY. Fuck.

Here's Jon Machen, in a photo I took at Chick and Ruth's Deli in September 1996. That was the day he should have punched Hilary in the face, thereby saving me years of trouble. C'est la Vié.

I miss my old SLR. Click! Developing pictures in the dark cramped bathroom was fun... unless someone else needed to use the bathroom.

Paul and Beth, riding on the Metro. That was a fantastic summer - 1993?

In a shocking hypocritical turn of events, I admit that I carved a pumpkin that did not utilize the form as if it were a head, thereby violating my own iron-clad rule and ending civilization as we know it.

At the time, I had patent leather sneakers. Meow.

BABY SIMON KITTY OMG THE BEST EVER!

And finally... in some ways, I haven't changed a bit. By the way, I painted that nightstand - and I have no idea where it ended up :(

Oops, not quite time for the Happy Birthday, Thomas LoMacchio!

Haha, I was 31 days off on Tom's Bday - my computer has embarassed me with its early reminders. Dammit. Firday was a Federal holiday, so Lisa and I joined Tom and Jane in PA, shopping at this place called The Green Dragon. In other news, Jane and I wore the same pants to work today. We planned it, since we bought them at Old Navy this past weekend. Hah!

I also painted some fake wood grips on some guns from Firefly/Serenity. Huzzah!

They're drying today - will take beauty shots tonight!

Also finished clean up and assembly on the studio scale BSG Viper. Wheee!
Lisa made an amazing dinner last night - who knew I liked beets?! She's amazing. We cleaned the pool this weekend, and then had tea. Yum!

Storm's a'comin' our way. Blah. Rainy day and I'm too tired and unmotivated
to do anything, really...

I did finish those two guns though - painted the fake wood and fake metal - this hunk o' resin looks good! Have you seen Serenity? Excellent film. This gun was seen on promo posters and in Wash's holster...

Here's a detail from a pic I took in 1995-1996, where you can see my mix tape "station". Looks like I was making a Kate Bush mix - see the singles, kate book, and cassette tracklist! Awesome. I miss making those tapes - obsessing over track orders, etc.

Simon Kitty™ and Coco are adapting well to life as a married kitty couple. Even though my cat is gay... we think. With sassy feet like that!
Here now, gentle readers, is my Simon-as-a-super-little-kitten gallery!

I have become completely and utterly spoiled by Lost in HD.

Nothing else compares... w00t!
My mother would never believe me without the photos to prove it

Lisa and I did so much yardwork yesterday, that we'll probably take the next month off from chores! I bagged 15 ful trashbags of leaves from the backyard - and took a pic so that certain people who know my hatred of yard duty will believe that I actually did it! I was bagging and lugging bags to the curb until it was pitch black! Lisa did a heroic amount of cleaning and gathering as well - she is a wonder woman.

Saturday night we joined the Wynns for dinner at House of Kabob, followed by Wal-Mart and Starbucks. I got a great rake at Wal-Mart that features a "no clog" design to the tines. Futuristic! Speaking of, I was so impressed by the cart escalator system that I had to take a picture.

Lisa attacked me with the rake - I did not clog it!

Here's the back yard. Please note the leaves - this photo was taken mid-gather.

Scarily, halfway through raking, I saw a shaft of warm sunlight travelling THROUGH my tree.

It was then I realized that the tree was hollow and rotten... so I have a tree service coming this week to give me the free estimat eof how much it will cost to remove, if this is deemed necessary. I am assuming it is, sadly.

We also closed our pool, finally. I hate the pool.

Then I stayed up way past my bedtime to work on some commissions.

This morning, I awoke to behold the fruits of my Sunday labor in the slightly overcast sun light. Tonight, I'll do some more cleaning inside, and try to get the final paint on the Viper model, so I can weather and have it finished for packing/delivery by the weekend.

The pool chore is a fading memory.... hurrah!

The Viper has all the markings. Now I get to weather it!

Looking forward to tomorrow!! I love family and food.

Lisa and I had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday - it even snowed a little the night before! We also saw Harry Potter that evening.

Thursday we joined my mom and Jonathan at Gram's house. Here's what a moving truck did recently, heee! Anthony, this pic is for you.

The turkey-shaped butter was delish.

Here you see what I have been eating for Thanksgiving since I was in diapers - turkey, mashed potatos (with volcano-like gravy lava), corn, fruit salad, Watergate™ salad, handmade herb bread, and bumps on a log (without bumps, I guess). FYI - the corn represents the villagers, which will be destroyed by the lava as soon as I get some of that surrounding stuff into mah belly...

We also bought Christmas lights for our delightful new house!

I opted to get the chunky 1950s era "C9" lights, because they remind me of childhood decorations at both grandparents. I love those!

We cleaned like crazy people because Lisa's family came by Saturday, and we wanted to pretend that we were fastidious and amazing.

I made awesome coffee yesterday from a Christmas blend I got from my mom.

My Vampyr book came! This was the first product that I did from (pretty much) start to finish - sculpt/prototype, paint master, and packaging!

I cleaned all my cases too - shine-tastic... what a chore.

The back room is coming together so well!
Finally, I got a great photo in my inbox this morning - it seems that Lisa was having a slow morning answering her call center bananaphone.

Yay! She rules!
