East Coast Prop Party
Saturday, March 19th, 2005
Held once or twice a year in Schwenksville Pennsylvania, the ECPP is a time when all my friends from the prop hobby get together to shoot the breeze and show off their latest creations. This hobby is incredibly addictive, expensive, rewarding, and social. I have met countless friends worldwide, and have witnessed unbelievable drama. The fury and fervor involved with the "latest and greatest" prop is a sight to behold.
I feel lucky to have found a close-knit community of people who will help you out without thinking twice - and some of them live half-way around the world!

Tom Wynn and I drove up in my Mazda3. This car would later become packed to the GILLS for the return journey.

Jane and her kitty, who likes to scratch at the tree in their front yard.

Sam and Tom Rammel, with my stuff in the foreground.

An overview of the firehall.

A Mangalore Rifle from the 5th Element! Mmmmm.

Jordan standing next to a Chronicles of Riddick Necromonger suit.

Todd watching Scott talk about molds to Mike (off camera) while cradling a 5th Element car shell. Swoon!

The giant cars. Me wanna!

Even has the spot where LeeLoo crashes though...

Steve, showing Matt Munson what he's missing!

Hell yes. The craftsmanship of this thing is astounding.

Tom Moogan's Electrobinocs - I have a Kalimar hood coming for mine!

Hey! I found "my" mask!

POW POW!

Matt says "I will cut you!"

Mookie, enjoying his rainbow sherbert!

Mike, Mook, and Shawn... a suave and talented trio, to be sure.

Later that night, Scott Maple dressed in his screen used Necromonger suit and crashed a wedding party that was "raging" in the smoky hotel bar.

We were all giddy as schoolkids... video of the event to follow!

The next morning, John Pisa-Relli and Scott discuss etiquette and protocol.

And Mookie charms yet another waitress.
The next party cannot come soon enough!
