Heya gang! It's a pretty good feeling to get something done, and sometimes when you get someone else to do it for you, it feels even better (heh!) I'd like to thank Michael Fichtenmayer for his help in creating my templates. My site will be so much easier to build/maintain/change now. Michael is a fantastic model builder and web designer - click his name to see what I mean! Some old content will return, and some won't. I hope you guys understand the fact that I need to be a little less accessible with my online info, so I apologize for the absence of some of the reference and useful data that remains off-line.
So how have you all been? Lisa and I just enjoyed a wonderful weekend that hinted at what home-ownership in the Spring and Summer will be like, and we're still unpacking from our weekend trip to Portland Oregon from a few weeks ago, heh. We flew across the country to meet Kow Yokoyama, the creator of Maschinen Krieger (SF3D). We're headed to Japan in August, so this was a nice "primer", and it was wonderful to meet Yokoyama-san, his wife, Oichan, and Sekiguchi-san. A full report will appear in the MaK section of this website within the next few days. Song in iTunes? "Lloyd, I'm Ready To Be Heartbroken" by Camera Obscura.
Bye bye pool (or, the end of that big "chore" in the backyard)

Hi gang! Lisa and I have had a spectacular and busy Summer (see the Japan link to your left), and look forward to things slowing a little for Fall. Lisa is once again taking graduate courses, and I am as busy as ever with freelance and my usual half-baked projects that somehow end up "pretty neat". I am currently Art Directing for Quantum Mechanix, a replica prop company that has some pretty darn cool things planned! I am also writing an article on Maschinen Krieger for Sci-Fi and Fantasy Modeler, using the tons and tons of data I gathered while in Japan. For this, I've been building a 1/20th scale Falke which will soon be covered on the website here. Many irons in the fire, and a lot of wonderful things to share - it's going to be a wonderful Fall...

...as soon as I get that hole drained!
Song on iTunes: "Scream and Run Away" by The Gothic Archies.
Goodbye warm weather, and hello gas bill!
