Tokyo Big Sight, our main objective!

Exceptionally strong and cold winds leave us all a bit short of breath!

We're here! Winter Wonderfestival 2008!

Here were brave, dedicated, cold fans, standing in line to buy amazing resin kits!

Our table samples.

Our kits, stacking up!

This is one of those things you see at WF that you just flat-out fall in love with. I have no idea what it is, but I LOVE it.

So much character - like a robot built by the Lambretta or Vespa people.

There was a kit available of the smaller guy (1/20th scale - hah!). I bought one.

No figure included - but look at how much character it has!

Even raw, the little guy looks fantastic.

T.H.A.T. were selling a 1/20th MaK F-Boot. Huge model!

BK - you'll dig this. They wanted you to know that they love seeing your builds of their kits, and that this little fella above can be make out of the "Kröete?" kit with some tires.

Tsuki-Kage, from Carnage Heart!! Hopefully these will be sold at the next WF, but they will be eventually made available!

Same goes of the the Aya Kage! Sus4 System rocks!!

This was a cool find - the mask parts for the AFS as seen in Band Desinee!

Included all that you see here!

Very dynamic - possibilities are limitless!

I scored someone a very desirable Junk Tank Rock kit!!

My triumph of the day - scoring an Mk52 B/G before they sold out. Such a cool thing to see in kit form!

Here they both are!

Can you spot the lighters?

Also a real treat to see - the illustrated hover bike, come to life!

And the one man pod?!?!

Of course, there were Cosplayers.

Everywhere.

Everywhere the eye could see.

Just... walking around.

Did I mention the giant robot infestation? Coooool.

I have no idea what this is, but they were friendly. All waves and floppity head.

The Hasegawa MaK booth!

I hope the Falke is released in 1/20th...

A big surprise - the next kit from Wave is the Snake Eye!!

Excellent Kotobukiya X-Wing.

The parts breakdown is just mind blowingly cool.

And they're making Indiana Jones stuff?!

Hah!

HE BETRAYED SHIVA! KALI MAAAAAAAAA!

Indy suffered a chipped hat.

Maybe her giant sword did it? So I gotta mention this - this woman is holding a HUGE fake sword, in the same section of booths where we were set up. It was hilarious because their group all took turns holding the thing aloft - so no matter where Dr TaK and I were in the thick of things, we could look towards our general area, hone in on the sword towering over the sea of heads, and make our way back to our cap with minimal fuss! Thanks, giant sword! Because of you, my day was easier!

And then before you know it, WF is over. So sad!!

It used to be so crowded...

But it's over, awwwwww.

We then went to the official after-WF MaK dinner party!

LIGHTS!

Me!

Kow checking out the Firefly!

Delicious food!

Gladiator, making the rounds!

YUM!

So that's WF for ya... tired and drunk and it's almost midnight!
