New camera!

Lisa and I took a nice long walk in the neighborhood on Sunday, and I continued playing with the camera.

We walked in the graveyard for a little under an hour.

As clouds darkened, we decided to return home.

About fifteen minutes after we returned home (amidst intermittant sprinkles) it POURED rain. We would have been soaked to the bone, and our cameras would have been toast. Whew!

Still trying to figure out the controls - apparently it wanted to focus on Simon and not the Lunadiver tail....

Backyard (agains)

Today is the day we get our back yard fixed up.... stay tuned for lots of dirt and mud and junk!

Apparently the ground is soft, so it's a little slow going.

Lucy looks on with a concerned look, from next door.

Here's something funny - we wanted the holly bush removed, but initially they thought we wanted it spruced up... so right before it gets whacked, it got pampered! Poor holly bush... but you'll never hurt any one again. Bare feet rejoice! More tomorrow.

Well, it turns out that the ground was just too soft/marshy for the equipment to do it's job, so we're regrouping and will try again shortly - most likely this time with some fill dirt and wheelbarrows.
