My Models:

Lunar GroßerHund and Luna Pawn

This is the resin Rainbow Egg GroßerHund kit (modified by myself) and the plastic Wave AFS Luna Pawn kit.

The base was made with wood, Das Pronto clay, and model rail road snow (tinted gray) and talus.

The GroßerHund has had it's "back" expanded with sensor pods, directional vanes, engine bells, and putty.

Plastic card built the vanes, and parts from a Tamiya armor kit and the "parts bin" completed the look.

The Luna Pawn's visor was tinted with clear Tamiya "smoke" paint, airbrushed from the inside.

The Luna Pawn's joint covers were sculpted over with Aves Apoxie Sculpt.

Decals were taken from the spare decal stack, built from leftovers of other Maschinen Krieger kits.

Weathering was a mixture of powdered pigments and hand-painted chipping.

The same techniques were used on the Luna Pawn.

The GroßerHund eyes were glued in place (and then coated) with Future Floor Polish.

The wires for the Luna Pawn were taken from the spares bin.

Spare parts from the parts bin were also added to the GroßerHund's head.

The texture on the rock was created with an intentional over spray of spray glue, which was left to harden.

Who will win?!

Probably the big dog ;)

But the Luna Pawn has a strong spirit...

And he will not give up without a fight!

The base, once dried, was sprayed with grays and then dusted with powdered pigments.

The vanes will detach for ease of transportation.

The edges of the base were given one more treatment with the black powdered pigment, to give it dimension.

Good luck, Luna Pawn!!
