Lunar GroßerHund and Luna Pawn

This is the resin Rainbow Egg GroßerHund kit (modified by myself) and the plastic Wave AFS Luna Pawn kit.

Most of the model was assembled according to the directions from Rainbow Egg. All joints were modified with putty to simulate joint covers.

The major difference from a "stock" Grosserhund was the addition of a lot of putty and engine bells, to make this a "Lunar" version.

I just followed the design cues of the Fliege and Kauz.

I added sensor bars and mounts for the antennas.

The engine fairing was added too, and blended in.

I tried to make the entire design balance against the head's distance from the main body.

The head also received some additional details.

The sensor bars were truncated to make them more "Strahl-like", and painting began.

Wires were added, joints were painted a purple-grey, and striping was blue.

I also built the Lunar Pawn, deciding to display both together in a stand off!

Decals and weathering went off without a hitch. Lenses were added and painted from behind.

The base was made from a combination of wood, putty, and talus.

The Lunar Pawn was finished stock!
