H.A.S. (R) Grasshopper

This design is my own.

The Grasshopper is a Mercenary proof-of-concept vehicle - a product of the Flat Plains Research facility. The FPR was born out of a need for furthering the development of effective defensive and offensive weaponry against the Strahl. A "think Tank" that specializes in highly classified and prototypical products, the FPR officially does not exist.

The Grasshopper is a hybrid sentry vehicle. A Neuspotter sensor head was backwards engineered and expanded upon, equipped with a solar generator, and mated to the Gladiator chassis. It is a self-sustaining AI unit designed to be deployed along a perimeter, or as an advanced point man or scout. It's rail-gun is lethal with unparalled accuracy considering it's hard-wiring to the Grasshopper's advanced imaging systems.

Very expensive to produce, the Grasshopper is a relatively rare machine, and not often deployed in standard battlefield situations. It has an advantage upon first contact with Strahl units, primarily because of the familiar design elements the Grasshopper shares with Strahl design. You will most likely see a Grasshopper around base camp perimeters, guarding sensitive facilities, or in uncharted territories. The FPR itself uses these as their watchdogs.
