Maschinen Krieger (formerly SF3D) It is my hope that this site will serve as a good overview of all the Ma.K. hardware out there. Where possible, a photograph of a built model or sketch by Kow Yokoyama will illustrate the design. Sometimes there is very little information out there, so if you have something not seen on these pages, please email me so that I may include it. I have attempted to give information directed to the kit builder in regards to the availability of each design. If a kit is (or has been) available, I will list the last known company to produce it. Quite a number of these designs are "one-offs" meaning that they have never been reproduced, only existing as a scratch-built piece. A word of caution: In the last few years since MaK has resurfaced, a great many number of kits have been recast and sold on eBay or through online shops. These are usually recasts of very rare garage-made kits (limited to 30 or so) which are sold at a one-day-only Japanese event called "WonderFestival". Many people have purchased these recasts (including myself) as it is the only way for the majority of people to add the design to their model collection. The Japanese fan base, which has close ties to Mr. Yokoyama, disapprove and strongly discourage people from buying these recasts. I have honored these wishes and do not actively buy the recasts any longer. (To be fair, no one knew anyone was upset, as we do not speak the same language). I actively encourage every Maschinen Krieger fan to let the Japanese know of our desire to have these exceptional kits made available - for us to have a chance to purchase! I would not bat an eye at paying double what the bootleggers charge, if it means getting 1st generation material and knowing Kow is getting paid.
